The Hunger Games

Recently there has been a lot of craze over the book, and brand new major motion picture, The Hunger Games. I have not read the book for myself, but I have heard from friends and acquaintances that the book is good. Many people have read the book and the movie appears to be equally popular. A lot of people who liked the book are going to see the movie. I have heard from people who have seen it that it is exactly like the book, but they still recommend you read first.

The Hunger Games is not just a book, but a series. Yes, this New York Times best-selling series is amongst the most popular. Many of her fans agree that Suzanne Collins did a wonderful job. With the hoop and holler all over the book made into a movie, I'm almost positive that it will be #1 most seen in theaters currently. As for myself, I don't really have a direct interest in seeing the movie. I haven't read the book and I'm not clear on what it is about, so I'll stick to my action movies.

  1. Noah, nice review of The Hunger Games series and movie. I swear I've been wanting to see the movie since around December, and now that it's out I'll probably go whenever I have a free weekend with friends! And yeah, if you want to see the movie it'd be good to first read the first book of the trilogy, but I don't think it's a big deal to and you wouldn't miss that much plot in comparison of the book and movie. And actually, The Hunger Games is part-action, but I guess you can stick to whatever you want to, even though it is an interesting book.

  2. Nice post Noah because I think that you know what you are talking about. I like how you explain this book, and tell us about what other people think, and not just what you think about the book. I hope to see this movie though, and by the way, this movie is an action movie.

  3. I read the first book in the beginning of eighth grade, and I want to reread it so that I don't forget anything before the movie. Or maybe I should just go to the movie and see if it brings back any memories instead of having high expectations for it? I don't know what I should do, but I'm dying to see it soon.

  4. I think that you might really like the books, if not the movie! There is tons of action throughout the book. It really bloody and gorry and it's not completely centered around love. Many teenage guys like it, so maybe you could too because it's one of those books that anyone can read, like Harry Potter.
